The Practice
Architecture with Integrity
Bauhinia Architects is a team of architects, architectural technicians and interior designers supported by administrative staff, serving Central Queensland from our Rockhampton studio.
The practice collaborates with other architectural practices who possess experience and expertise relevant to particular projects. This collaboration has proven successful in bringing both local experience and project-specific expertise to our regional clientele.
Notable collaborations include Rockhampton's new library in association with Brewster Hjorth Architects Sydney, and the Old Post Office refurbishment with Allen Lovell Architects.

With 30 years of experience in architecture across Queensland, Tasmania and the United Kingdom, Gaven leads Bauhinia Architects with a collaborative and client-focused approach.
Over the years the practice has attracted numerous architects, graduates and technicians to Central Queensland, keen to gain experience and progress their careers.
Today the Bauhinia Architects team is spread across Australia. With the benefit of modern communication technology, team members continue working with Bauhinia regardless of location. Team members are selected based upon experience and skill relative to each project.
